...and I'm sitting in the library, watching the clouds drift and the trees sway.

All my worries are piling up, along with the bills and the laundry, but, all I can think of is the clouds...

Each new day brings a beauty with it, that I'm completely unable to sit and enjoy.

Hassles, struggles, worries and sameness engulf me.

Nothing new there!

I'm finding less and less time for me.

I need to finish research papers, study guides and general class stuff.

I need break.

Not a vacation, but a break.

One day with no obligations, or duties, or chores.

Maybe after the holidays?

Maybe...

As you may know...(maybe not), I'm a full-time college student working on dual majors.

HITT - Health Information Technology (billing, coding & transcription) and Management, which are both two year programs at my local community college.

This is my sixth semester in my second year and funny...I'm not even into the programs yet. I'm taking all the prerequisites required by the college and the programs.

See, I never went to college right out of high school. I went to work.
Then I met this guy...and we were married 1 1/2 years later (I was 20).

With marriage and work, then children, I just never got around to it.

He (the Ex) always promised though..."next year, babe, next year".

He said that alot about a lot of things, come to think of it.

Anyway...college is a challenge. The homework boggles the mind.
And the physical-ness of it really runs you down.
There are somedays I'm too tired to stand and other days that I can barely remember my name.

Between my children (who are both in High School now) have been great...and the full-time job that I need to exist...sometimes things get lost.

Take my sanity.

Gone.

But, I've found that most college students are quite insane.

Walk any college campus and you'll see what I mean.

Oh...and if you see me...don't worry.

I always talk to myself.

Doing fine...summer was too fast and over too quickly.

Autumn is here and I can't tell which way is up...

I'm sorry for not getting onsite sooner, but, college, kids, work and home has taken up every waking moment.

Also, not having internet sucks.

I'm partially deaf in one ear (less than 25%)...

...happened a long time ago...

...from far too many really loud concerts
...pneumonia at 18
...a perforated eardrum at 20

So I tilt my head a little to the left to hear you...

I only talk on the phone with it plastered to my left ear...

...but, tonight...

I have my son's headphones on and I can hear out my right!!

I have balance, tone, pitch, melody, rhythm!!

Ecstasy!!

I sit here now...smiling...happy, hyper...hearing...
